Valeo Service, Valeo's aftermarket activity, sells a wide range of products and top quality services (catalogues, marketing tools, training and diagnostic tools) to car dealerships, spare parts distributors and independent garages in more than 100 countries around the world. Valeo Service, comprises two branches: a team dedicated to the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) - distributors, garages, auto-centres, and another one - to the Original Equipment Spares network (OES).
We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join the Eastern Europe team acting in the Independent Aftermarket in the region.
Role overview:
As Supply Chain Manager you will lead and manage the Site Supply Chain team and activities with the objective of maximizing the service level (internal and external customers), minimizing the logistics costs and inventories and accelerating the physical flows from suppliers to customers. You will drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction and flow optimization across the entire value stream within Supply Chain.
Your responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Supply Chain Strategy ensuring alignment with global priorities and overall business objectives
Lead and grow a high performing, cross-functional supply chain organization (direct and indirect teams), including customer service, procurement, warehouse operations, and continuous improvement; ensure full integration of all functions for seamless end-to-end execution.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous development; set clear objectives, monitor performance, and support the growth of team members.
Oversee all logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and management of 3PL partners
Manage and synchronize all physical and information flows, both internal and external
Ensure full adherence to standard supply chain processes (e.g. SIOP/MPS)
Optimize logistics costs while maintaining best in class service levels and quality standards.
Maintain regular communication and alignment with customers and suppliers.
Handle escalated customers issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
In line with the Valeo Group Supply Chain Strategy, deploy standard methodologies and tools to continuously enhance logistics performance; measure and report the KPIs according to defined standards.
Define, manage, and monitor Supply Chain budgets
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of system master data, parameters, inventory records, and reporting activities
Guarantee full compliance with Safety, Quality, Trade, and Customs requirements within the site.
Your profile:
Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or related field.
Master’s degree or post graduate qualification in Supply Chain (strongly preferred)
8+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including at least 3 years managing an integrated supply chain function and leading teams
Strong attention to detail with ability to follow and improve structured processes
Hands-on experience in optimizing and transforming supply chain operations (preferred)
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics within the automotive aftermarket
Exceptional clarity in communication, strong stakeholder engagement abilities, and a proactive approach to problem solving and solution design
APICS, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification is highly advantageous.
Readiness to undertake business trips as needed.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
