Become a pivotal part of the Consumer Bank Acquisition Marketing Team by stepping into the role of SEO Marketing Strategist, driving organic account growth through technical SEO, content strategy, and emerging AI experiences.
As an SEO Marketing Strategist on the Consumer Bank Acquisition Marketing Team, you'll lead initiatives to improve share of search, rankings, and discoverability across traditional and AI-powered search engines. You'll partner cross-functionally with product, analytics, and external agencies to translate search insights into scalable growth opportunities, and balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and experimentation.
Job responsibilities
  • Lead SEO strategy across on-site, technical and content initiatives to drive sustainable organic growth
  • Optimize content and site structure for evolving AI search experiences
  • Identify high-impact keyword and topic opportunities using search demand, competitive, and intent analysis
  • Partner with product and growth segment marketing, SEO Center of Excellence (COE), and content production teams to implement SEO and AI informed recommendation onto pages
  • Manage agency relationships, roadmaps and performance tracking against clear SEO and AI KPIs
  • Monitor algorithm changes, AI search trends and technical issues, proactively identifying risk and opportunities to scale
  • Translate complex SEO and AI insights into clear recommendations for senior leaders
  • Provide SEO guidance on ad hoc projects, including reviewing proposed page changes and advising on potential SEO implications
  • Train internal teams on SEO best practices and guidelines, and develop and maintain documentation for SEO processes and standards
  • Develop and execute local SEO strategies to improve visibility in geographically related searches, location related landing pages and the branch locator experience

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Foundational SEO expertise across technical SEO, content optimization, and keyword strategy
  • Strong understanding of how AI is reshaping search behavior and discovery
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using SEO and performance measurement tools
  • Clear, concise communicator able to influence cross-functional partners and leadership
  • Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments with a test-and-learn mindset
  • Quick to adapt to new tools and technologies as needed
