Kroll’s Investigations, diligence and Compliance practice assists clients in Forensic Investigations and delivering actionable data and insight business intelligence that help clients worldwide make critical decisions and mitigate risk.
The Senior Vice President will be responsible for execution and delivery of local and international (multijurisdictional) investigations and compliance driven projects, with a focus on fraud investigations, such as those stemming from internal and external whistle blowers, regulatory investigations, corruption, disputes, financial distress, insolvency, employee-wrong doing, and restructurings.
You will also be expected to identify new business opportunities in the private and public sector and be involved in the development of marketing and product initiatives. Responsibilities will also include drafting proposals, supporting colleagues in other Kroll offices in converting opportunities, speaking at events, and drafting thought leadership which will positively reflect upon Kroll and the business.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Vice President is primarily expected to be able to execute and manage projects using methods including public domain research, books of accounts review, digital forensics, interviews and field investigation and also support with Business Development initiatives.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Act as a key member of the team in matters of internal investigation, fraud, anti-bribery and corruption issues, compliance, fraud risk management and other relevant matter
- Along with the Managing Director, development and management of projects, throughout the life and the engagement: meeting with client to discuss needs, preparation of commercial and technical proposal, agreement of engagement, development of working plan and budget, allocation of resources, direction of project team members, delivery and quality assurance and project invoicing
- Mentor, develop and oversee staff to ensure the execution of client objectives and deliverables
- Contribute to the professional development and evaluation of junior project team members, encourage behavior transformation
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, be commercially-focused and be driven by professional excellence and a commitment to the Kroll brand.
Requirements
- Minimum 9 + years of experience including expertise in the areas of investigation, intelligence, forensic accounting, compliance and other forensic services
- An added CFE or CCEP qualification would be preferred
- Knowledge of digital forensics, OSINT, data analytics (tools/languages) would be a plus
- Good understanding of the South East Asia ecosystem with insights on political, economic, regulatory and risk dynamics
- Experience working with diverse teams
- Must be able to think independently and make sound decisions
- Some experience in business development will be an added advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa
Display ability to communicate effectively particularly with external clients and internal colleagues demonstrating the ability to reach the desired project outcome
