Your Role:
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll shape the end-to-end user experience for the SolarWinds Observability Platform, a suite of solutions that gives customers a complete view of their cloud and data center environments.
You’ll own the design of one or more core product areas, partnering closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to turn complex data and workflows into intuitive, cohesive, and visually elegant experiences.
What You’ll DoDesign with purpose: Translate product strategy into simple, powerful, and human-centered experiences.
Collaborate deeply: Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Engineers to define problems, validate solutions, and deliver high-quality designs.
Shape the platform: Partner with fellow designers to create a unified, cross-product experience across the Observability Platform.
Think end-to-end: Drive the design process from early discovery and research through to production-ready deliverables.
Advocate for users: Apply insights from research and data to inform decisions and improve usability.
Ensure quality: Partner with engineering to guide implementation and maintain design integrity through launch.
Contribute to the system: Help evolve our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility.
Mentor and elevate: Share best practices, provide constructive feedback, and help others grow.
5+ years of experience designing enterprise SaaS products or complex B2B applications.
Strong portfolio showcasing intuitive, data-rich, workflow-driven product experiences.
Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools like Sketch, Zeplin).
Experience in systems thinking and component-based design.
Excellent communication skills—able to explain design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Comfort working in Agile environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
A passion for solving complex problems and delivering real value to users.
Experience designing for developer tools, process-tracking, or incident-management workflows.
Background in SaaS or startup environments where you thrive in fast-paced, iterative settings.
Hybrid model: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
