THE ROLE

The Senior Training Program Lead will work closely with the software engineering department and other technical stakeholders to build out Zeta’s Engineering Academy, identify learning needs, develop comprehensive training materials, and deliver programs that enhance the technical proficiency of our teams. In addition to supporting software engineering, this individual will support the Sr Director of Training in the development and delivery of our AI Academy, ensuring it remains at the forefront of industry trends. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a culture of continuous learning within the organization, with a special emphasis on technical skills development. Ideally, this will be a hybrid role and you will sit out of one of our offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Nashville, or New York City (in office T/W/Th and remote M/F).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of technical training programs for software engineering and other technical teams, ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with software engineering leadership and subject matter experts to identify skills gaps and design targeted training solutions.
  • Facilitate training workshops, webinars, and hands-on sessions for engineers, focusing on topics such as software development, AI, and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of training programs by collecting and analyzing feedback, making iterative adjustments to content and delivery.
  • Support the Sr Director of Training with the build of Zeta’s internal AI upskilling academy, guiding the creation of curriculum and training paths focused on generative AI and other advanced technologies.
  • Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, multimedia content, and hands-on labs, tailored to adult learners in technical roles.
  • Create scalable learning frameworks that support both self-paced and instructor-led learning modalities.
  • Provide regular reporting on the effectiveness of training initiatives, including program participation, engagement levels, and impact on performance.
  • Support the onboarding process for new technical hires by developing and facilitating orientation programs specific to engineering and AI-focused roles.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Technical Training team to provide product and industry training for the Engineering department.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and delivering technical training, with a focus on software engineering, AI, or other advanced technologies.
  • Strong background in instructional design and adult learning principles, particularly in a technical context.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading complex training programs, including both instructor-led and self-paced learning initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with software engineering teams to assess training needs and translate technical concepts into accessible learning content.
  • Proficiency in developing training content using various tools such as Microsoft 365, PowerPoint, and eLearning platforms.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an approachable and engaging demeanor.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, including generative AI, machine learning, and data science, and the ability to teach these concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 - $120,000.00, depending on location and experience.
