About the Role:
Intel Foundry is seeking an experienced leader in the Application Support Engineering team, leading the support of Foundry customers with the development and implementation of advanced timing sign-off methodologies, ensuring superior PPA on cutting-edge Intel technology.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead collaborations with EDA vendors to enhance and validate industry-standard tools and flows for timing sign-off.
- Design and optimize custom flows to leverage EDA tool capabilities.
- Work closely with technology leaders, VLSI physical design teams, and timing engineers to assess the impact of factors such as variation, aging, and power delivery networks, deploying sophisticated timing sign-off strategies.
- Drive innovations in STA, constraints management, and timing and power optimization.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience with PPA analysis, variation modeling, and physical design.
- Proven expertise in multiple areas like extraction, device physics, STA methodology, EDA tool features, flow development, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Tcl, and others.
Preferred Experience
- Exceptional leadership skills with focus on collaboration and finding solutions.
- Ability to formulate solutions to complex and abstract problems.
- Understanding of 3DIC timing sign-off requirements.
- Expertise in design techniques, including clock gating, power gating, dynamic voltage-frequency scaling (DVFS), and clock domain crossing (CDC).
- Comprehensive understanding of electro-migration, noise, jitter, and related phenomena.
- MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related engineering field
- 10+ years of experience in digital design and timing sign-off.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$228,130.00-$322,070.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
