Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the technical requirements and documentation for digital TV product features
  • Acquire and summarize customer requirements and conduct business process analysis
  • Produce technical requirements and user stories
  • Develop systems and software designs in cooperation with architects and technical leads
  • Continuously maintain and improve the company requirements knowledge bases
  • Conduct in-depth systems analysis and requirements management
  • Develop functional specifications, data mappings, and system requirements documentation
  • Provide technical oversight and support multiple projects in an agile environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of business and technical goals
  • Perform root cause analysis and problem-solving for system issues
  • Conduct research and analyze logic difficulties or changes
  • Develop technical documentation by reading source code using IDEs or other development tools
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices in systems and software design

Required Skills & Behaviors:

  • Degree in computer science or a related field, or a combination of related experience and education
  • At least 5 years of experience in the development of software requirements and specifications
  • Excellent knowledge of various modeling and designing tools Sparx Enterprise Architect and similar or PlantUML.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of systems analysis and requirements management
  • Strong analytical skills in networking, databases, and systems architecture
  • Proficiency in knowledge mining and search skills, including IT systems and personal communication
  • Goal-focused with a positive 'Can Do' attitude
  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to develop technical documentation by reading source code
  • General knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, software applications, client/server architectures, and standard communications protocols
  • Experience with development, programming, testing, and implementation tools and techniques
  • Ability to research and analyze logic difficulties or changes, and write system requirements documentation, data mappings, and system functional specifications
  • Strong ability to conduct requirements gathering through direct interaction with the customer (this is a customer-facing role)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent skills to optimize requirements through interaction with the customer to achieve the desired functionality on minimum budget and fastest timeline (MVP concept)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and engagements at the same time
  • Ability to support multiple projects in an agile environment with minimal guidance and direction
  • Strong English written communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the interactive television industry or a related field
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices
  • Experience with digital TV product features and requirements
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in media applications
