As a member of the AI Strategy & Governance Team, the Senior Specialist - Digital Workplace Enablement advances CNA's digital workplace capabilities by managing AI governance controls, defining business use cases, piloting new technologies, and driving adoption of digital workplace tools. This role also supports AI literacy at CNA and serves as the product owner for digital workplace platforms such as Microsoft Copilot and SharePoint. The position collaborates across Technology, HR, and business units to ensure seamless integration, compliance, and value realization from digital workplace solutions.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
- Own and manage AI governance controls for digital workplace tools, ensuring compliance with data privacy and internal standards.
- Define and document business use cases for digital workplace tools (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft 365 apps, Adobe).
- Lead and coordinate business pilots for new technologies , including defining success criteria, onboarding users, coordinating testing, measuring results, and recommending next steps.
- Operationalize and scale selected tooling capabilities for business use.
- Monitor tooling usage, quantify value delivery, and share insights with key stakeholders; document ROI for digital workplace tools.
- Lead the planning and execution of AI literacy initiatives and develop proactive communication strategies.
- Establish and manage a Digital Workplace business champions network to foster collaboration, drive adoption, and realize value.
- Act as the centralized business owner contact for digital workplace tools, providing targeted support to business teams.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Business Relationship Management, and other stakeholders to ensure integration, governance, and best practices.
- Partner with Tech Training to deliver onboarding and enablement resources.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Strong understanding of AI governance, digital workplace tools, and data privacy principles.
- Demonstrated success driving positive business outcomes through AI tool implementation and adoption.
- Extensive AI prompting skills .
- Ability to define and measure success criteria aligned to business outcomes.
- Skilled at communicating complex topics in a simplified, non-technical manner.
- Strong consultative, project management, organizing, and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and awareness of industry trends and advances; proactively brings innovative ideas.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, influence without authority, and build rapport across business and technology teams.
- Experience in planning and executing enterprise-wide initiatives and pilots.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Copilot, SharePoint, and other workplace productivity tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Approaches solutions as a corporate entrepreneur.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, digital workplace enablement, communications, or governance .
- Experience running pilots, operationalizing technology solutions, and driving enterprise technology adoption.
- Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio experience preferred.
- Insurance industry experience preferred.
- Applicable certifications (e.g., Agile, Product Owner, Microsoft 365 , and Change Management ) preferred.
- Jira experience preferred.

I n certain jurisdictions, CNA is legally required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. In District of Columbia , California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois , Maryland , Massachusetts , New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $72,000 to $141,000 annually.Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
