As a Senior Specialist - Data Science, you will play a vital role in developing analytics solutions offered as part of Cordant applications. Ideal candidate will combine strong data science, statistical skill and hands on experience with developing analytics to solve real-world issues on a scale.
As a Senior Specialist – Data Science, you will also be responsible for:
- Work closely with SMEs, Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams to grasp analytics use case problem statements.
- Analyze these challenges from a domain perspective and recommend data science, statistical, or AI-driven solutions.
- Design and implement analytics solutions by applying advanced data science and statistical methods.
- Establish measurable outcomes and model metrics to enhance accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct exploratory analysis on large, complex datasets—cleaning, preprocessing, validating data, and identifying patterns and trends.
- Uphold data quality, governance, privacy standards, and advocate for the ethical use of data and AI.
- Build scalable, efficient analytics models in partnership with Data, Platform, and ML Engineers.
- Present insights clearly to stakeholders and leadership through visualizations, reports, and presentations detailing methodology, findings, and hypotheses.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM field.
- Have 5-7 years of experience in analytics, including 3+ years working on enterprise-scale solutions.
- Demonstrate expertise in AI/ML, statistical methods, LLM, and Gen AI analytics, Python, and related libraries.
- Apply OOP concepts for analytics development.
- Show familiarity with MLOps and model lifecycle management.
- Work independently and drive outcomes.
- Exhibit a critical system thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Effectively explain analytical ideas to non-technical audiences.
