Role Definition
The Content Tech Lead will be responsible for the technical assistance of content services. In this role, they should collaborate with business team to understand the scope, liaising with colleagues across multiple teams for technical requirements and also act as a subject matter expert of Content services. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, an ability to collate and present technical issues to a range of audiences, a passion for learning, and impact with a strong focus on technical expertise. This role will also be responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of systems and processes, productivity, data integrity, process consistency, documentation and training.
Responsibilities
- Function as subject matter of content services.
- Work with the teams that design, develop, deliver and maintain content services
- Assess needs and use cases to quickly come up with impactful and creative solutions
- Create work items for the sprint based on scope for development team
- Proactively solve recurring challenges and assess complex problems and solicit resolutions
- Identify technical issues in Content Management Tools and work with their product team to fix them in a timely manner
- Ability to manage and work on simultaneous projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to act autonomously on new and ambiguous business ideas and initiatives
- Strongly adhere to processes and guidelines
- Research and think analytically about strategy and bring solutions thro POCs
- Must have the ability to understand the products through hands-on experience
- Initiate new practices and procedures that benefit the development team and streamline productivity.
- Ensure the expansion of content services are not hindered by technical limitations
Skill Descriptors
- Expertise in walk me/whatfix and extensive knowledge in CSS, HTML and Jquery
- Experience with Adobe Rohohelp & MadCap Flare tool
- Experience leveraging multiple software tools like Camtasia & Snagit for GIF creation & image editing, Azure DevOps for tracking projects, etc.
- Familiar with the process of Documentation Development Cycle working in an agile, rapid-development and fast-paced environment
- Critical & analytical thinking and highly motivated individual with ability to grasp complex engineering concepts
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and to meet aggressive deadlines
- Successful track record of working independently both in an office and telecommuting setting
Basic Qualifications :
- Minimum 8+years of IT experience and 5+ years in content development experience on HTML, CSS, Jquery .
- 5+ years of expertise in whatfix, Adobe Robohelp and Madcap Flare to drive adoption with digital user experience journeys
