Do you love building fast and reliable systems that reach millions of people? Do you like using the latest technologies and data science methods to solve real-world challenges? If you do, then you might be the Senior Software Engineer we're looking for to join our Profiles team.

Our team handles the most critical products of our division, which are essential for the profiles business. You'll build and maintain user interfaces and client-side (B2B and B2C) functionality, as well as server-side logic, databases, and APIs. You’ll also collaborate with other engineering teams to enhance our products and data solutions.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll:

  • Create, test, launch, and monitor fast and scalable microservices
  • Work with the product owners and stakeholders to make features that meet the user needs and business goals
  • Follow the best practices and standards to make sure the code is high-quality, secure, and reliable
  • Support and guide the junior engineers and share your knowledge and feedback with them
  • Explore and try out new technologies and frameworks that can make the system and user experience better
  • Be ready to learn new skills and take on full-stack tasks in the future

What you’ll do…

  • Develop new features and functionality to support fieldwork management and integration with multiple platforms
  • Ensure high quality and performance of the system by writing unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs in the system
  • Work with agile methodologies
  • Coach and mentor more junior members of the team
  • Become an expert in the domain and contribute to the design and architecture of the system

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in software development using node.js, ruby, or similar languages
  • Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems
  • Experience with Kafka, or other messaging systems
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or other cloud platforms and DevOps tools
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB
  • Experience with testing frameworks
  • Positive communication and collaboration skills
