Main Responsibility Summary
- Build Competence of Maersk Technology Capabilities together with platform owners and technology product teams, including but not limited to Storage & Distribution e.g. Consolidation, Deconsolidation, Fulfillment and FTL/LTL/Last Mile Delivery, Cold Storage, E-com B2B and B2C business
- Work together with WND Platform PPOs (Fulfillment, Flow, E-com, Cold Storage, E-com), BPO team, Technology product teams, warehouse delivery team as well as the external counterpart (client, vendor, 3rd parties) to design and implement technology solutions fulfilling business requirement.
- Technology for customer solution covers products and applications but not limited to Warehouse Management System, Distribution product, LNS, integration solution support for end-to-end/total WMS solution (Automation, API, EDI, Visibility, T&T, SaaS software, TMS, E-com Mercury, etc.)
- Implementation & configuration responsibilities include but not limited to project management, scrum management, implementation planning, requirement analysis, solution design, engineering and configuration, super user training, UAT, integration testing support, go live including service migration/cut-over, post-implementation hyper-care support, service desk L1/L2 support handover, L3 support and problem management, system enhancement/change request follow-up, etc.
Responsibility
- Support Maersk Technology Customer Configuration PPO(s) for quotation & complexity identification, requirement & implementation timeline clarification during tendering stage
- Product and configuration knowledge understanding from respective product owners
- Requirement capturing from clients, BPO team, delivery team and corresponding product owners (if multiple products combined solution)
- Functional & non-functional technical specification building for requirement, system process flow, solution design for product development and configuration.
- Solution testing, user acceptance testing, integration testing together with concerned platform teams, etc.
- Super user community training
- Go live with cutover & hyper-care plan for technical solution deployment, configuration, migration and cut over until solution stabilized
- Solution, configuration and potential problem/incident workaround/resolution handover to L1 & L2 application support
- Technical documentation: requirement spec, workflow/dry-run process, solution design, configuration guide, training materials, application support guideline, project/implementation management related (planning, risk, issue, etc.)
- In-depth L3 support to production environment (problem, incident, etc.) as part of ongoing application support process
- System enhancement handling as part of change request process for existing client maintenance
Qualifications and Skillset
- Minimum 10 years’ experience of customer Technology solution design, software development, implementation & configuration in logistic business including supply chain management, cold chain and contract logistics, etc.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of customer Technology solution engineering and implementation in warehouse & distribution and contract logistics domain
- Strong knowledge of logistic business (FMCG, Technology, Automotive, Cold Storage, etc.) and technology solutions (WMS, automation, TMS, BI, B2B, B2C, etc.)
- On-hand design/development/configuration/implementation experience of WMS (Warehouse Management System) including but not limited to High Jump, JDA, SAP, Manhattan, etc. experience of Infor/Exceed suite would be an advantage
- Integration technology solution experience as preferred skillset
- Java, .NET, SQL Server, Crystal Report, Bartender Label, etc.
- Project management methodologies and experience
- ITIL Foundation/DevOps methodologies and experience
- Experience of JIRA system is preferred
- Analytical skills with a high sense of detail and ability to think logically and in structured approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Well organized and independent, timeline & quality driven, risk control, result oriented
- Travelling expected based on implementation requirement
- Fluent written and speaking English
- Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering or above is preferred
