Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznan we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Senior SAP FI Consultant
Poznan, Poland
Join our IT Finance team located in Poznan and seize the opportunity to grow as an IT professional with access to modern technologies such as SAP S/4, Fiori and Central Finance.
Your responsibilities:

  • Technical:
    • Perform the configuration and implementation of FI solutions.
    • Test deliverables against acceptance criteria.
    • Execute necessary documentation, as directed or needed.
    • Provide incident support by resolving tickets in ServiceNow.
    • Support SAP Central Finance and other SAP S4 systems.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Product Manager to understand business requirements and priorities.
    • Analyze assignments and determine software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives and resolve technical integration and performance issues.
    • Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs.


Our requirements:

  • 5 or more years of experience configuring or supporting SAP FI.
  • Strong understanding of core SAP Enterprise Structure and General Ledger concepts including Company Code, Trading Partner, Profit Center Accounting, Ledger, Ledger Group, Validations, Substitutions, Fiscal Year Variants, Currency Translation/Revaluation, and Document Types.
  • Strong understanding of core SAP Master Data concepts.
  • Understanding of the FI Documents and postings (BSEG, BKPF, COEP, COBK, and ACDOCA) as well as Cost Objects including Internal Orders & WBS Elements (AUFK, PRPS) and their various associations and attributes.
  • Experience working in environment with several SAP landscapes.
  • Strong analysis & problem-solving skills.
  • Very good knowledge of English, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Learning Agility and Innovation, which entails a desire and openness to engage in continuous technical learning and identifying areas for practical application.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, IT, Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related career field.


Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of SAP Central Finance, SAP S4, Fiori, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Experience with Statutory Compliance Solutions.
  • Knowledge of other SAP modules.
  • Knowledge in SAP ABAP.
