About the role

The Senior Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing key accounts in Malaysia and supporting the Pulp & Paper business in the Philippines. This role focuses on achieving sales and gross profit targets, leading technical service teams, and developing strategic customer relationships across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key customer accounts in Malaysia and the Philippines, focusing on solutions such as Retention Aids, Sizing, Microbiological Control, Contaminant Control, and Colorants.

  • Achieve targeted sales and gross profit (GP) goals while identifying and developing new business opportunities.

  • Lead and support a team of Service Technicians (if applicable) to ensure high-quality technical service delivery.

  • Build strong customer relationships, resolve issues effectively, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and maintain competitiveness.

  • Maintain accurate sales records, submit regular reports, and provide sales forecasts.

  • Stay updated on industry developments and maintain strong technical knowledge relevant to the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales/account management, preferably in the Pulp & Paper or chemical industry.

  • Experience managing regional accounts and cross-border business is a plus.

  • Strong technical knowledge of Pulp & Paper chemical applications.

  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage customer relationships.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and travel as required.
