What can you expect?


As a Senior Researcher at Netvirta, you will work alongside research experts in developing state-of-the-art 3D human body reconstruction, clothing simulation, and virtual clothes try-on techniques. Our team offers a highly stimulating research environment with exciting challenges and vast real-world applications. You will join our team to innovate in AI for fashion applications, using cutting-edge diffusion and GAN models to develop intelligent systems, automate design processes, and enhance consumer experience. Our work will unlock a future in which billions of users have access to accurate and personalized 3D body data, enabling a wide range of applications ranging from eCommerce to fitness. Responsibilities

  • Develop & enhance cutting-edge computer vision & graphics algorithms for 3D reconstruction, visualization & analytics, 3D simulation and virtual try-on.
  • Comprehensively understand current state-of-the-art technologies and approaches as well as their limitations 
  • Propose novel approaches with commercialization potential 
  • Evaluate complexity of solutions for timely commercial delivery 
  • Systematic analysis of technical challenges to produce viable consumer-friendly solutions 
  • Collaborate with Researchers in delivering scalable solutions 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of research findings into the company's products 

Required Skills & Experience

  • PhD in Computer Vision/Graphics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or related technical field OR at least 5 years working experience under related technical field.
  • Research concentration in areas such as 
  • - Human segmentation / tracking / pose estimation 

    - 3D processing, reconstruction & simulation 

    - Statistical human models 

    - Real-time image/video processing 

    - Avatars & virtual try-ons 

    - Camera calibration & localization 

  • Deep learning experience in computer vision, human/object detection/segmentation/parsing, GAN, diffusion, LLM, etc
  • Proficient in rapid prototyping with Python (C++ is good to have) 

Good-to-Have

  • Working experience in industrial research
  • Relevant experience in a team-lead or project management capacity
