Neo4j is looking for a strategic Senior Product Marketing Manager to scale Neo4j’s self-serve cloud business, the entry point for all developers. In this role, your first impact will be to show developers, and practitioners worldwide the value of Neo4j Aura cloud database service. In collaboration with product, developer relations, demand gen, growth and field teams, you will own the positioning, stories, pitches for the self-serve Aura product line. You will be highly data driven and utilize product and funnel analytics to drive, test, iterate and build the best developer journey for the cloud and demonstrate a clear vision of the “why” behind Neo4j’s cloud offerings.

As the ideal candidate you will care equally about efficiency, quality and execution and know that teamwork is key to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive market impact: Ensure cross-functional alignment and lead the success of product and feature launches of our market leading Neo4j graph database; contribute-to, build and support our GTM initiatives.
  • Be the message owner: Develop compelling narratives and positioning for each stage of the self-serve customer journey that continue to clearly differentiate Neo4j against our competitors and communicate value to our developer users.
  • Become the Market Expert: Understand the ins-and-outs of the graph database market, conduct market analysis and be the company’s go-to expert, understand our competitors and keep track of the evolving market landscape.
  • Build Compelling Marketing Content: Be the product’s messaging guru and work across the org to help in the development of website, blogs, datasheets, webcasts, brochures, and other external facing content to ensure the right messages are hitting the right audiences. Guide the marketing and growth teams on nurture campaigns to achieve activation and conversion metrics.
  • Be the voice of the customer: Understand the needs, pains, and dreams of new developers signing up for Neo4j. And drive home how we differentiate from the competition to ensure their success with Neo4j.

Desired Experience/Background:

  • 6+ yrs relevant product marketing or growth marketing experience in a developer focused B2B SaaS product.
  • Prior experience with marketing products or services built and delivered in public cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills: You love writing, have experience developing narratives and persuading people to try something new, you care about producing content that will resonate with developers and practitioner engineers.
  • Real-world experience with databases and data integration is a plus
  • You're energized by measuring customer sentiment across a complex and diverse customer journey, with multiple paths and phases
  • Test & learn mentality, lean on data and experimentation to make decisions and inform strategies
  • Prior experience working at product-led growth organizations and/or freemium business models
  • Technical depth/acuity to understand the ins-outs of graphs, databases and cloud, market relevancy and to ensure crisp, accurate communication to target personas
  • Thrive in cross-functional environments and in rallying different teams around a shared goal
  • Be forward-thinking, well organized, and have an obsession for detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree
