Department Overview
The Financial Markets (FM) business provides clients access to global capital markets through trading and risk management solutions. The Global Securities Financing (GSF) desk manages short-term funding, collateral optimisation, and liquidity. It specialises in repo trading, securities financing, and equity lending to support market efficiency and client financing needs.
The FMGT Tribe is the change delivery department for Financial Markets (FM’) and Group Treasury (‘GT’). Its purpose is to deliver scalable, reliable and compliant end-to-end products and services to our business stakeholders and clients. It strives for efficiency and timely delivery according to strategic roadmaps and latest regulatory standards through deep product knowledge, technology expertise and superior drive.
Role Description
As Product Manager on the GSF desk, you will develop and optimize products across repo trading, securities financing, and collateral management. Collaborate with trading, sales, operations, and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions that enhance liquidity and balance sheet efficiency. Strong knowledge of financial markets and regulatory frameworks is essential.
Core Responsibilities
• Drive product development and change initiatives
• Act as liaison between stakeholders and technology teams
• Own product lifecycle and backlog prioritization
• Ensure compliance and process standards
• Monitor performance metrics and delivery velocity
• Build strong stakeholder relationships
Candidate Profile
• Degree-level education
• 7–10 years experience in banking/finance with strong knowledge of Securities Financing and collateral management
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (SFTR, MiFID II, FRTB)
• Experience with vendor systems (e.g., Anvil, Global 1, Pirum)
