About The Role
Join Mochi Health as a Senior Product Designer and help us create intuitive, user-friendly experiences that make healthcare more accessible and effective. You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to design interfaces that are not only beautiful but also functional. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about design, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to a mission-driven company. This role reports to the Head of Design.
What You’ll Do
- Zero to One Product Design: Drive the design process from user research through to high-fidelity prototypes, ensuring seamless and effective user experiences.
- Cross-Platform Design: Create scalable, responsive, and intuitive interfaces for both web and mobile applications.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to quickly iterate and visualize design concepts, features, and user flows.
- Design Systems: Contribute to, maintain, and scale the company’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all teams.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to align designs with user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Iterative Design: Refine and iterate on designs based on user insights, feedback, and data analytics to continuously improve the user experience.
- End-to-End Ownership: Take full accountability for your designs, driving projects to completion from concept to final delivery.
- Mentorship: Support and guide fellow designers, helping to elevate the quality and speed of design execution across the team.
Who You Are
- User-Centered: You have extensive experience conducting user research, usability testing, and leveraging insights to craft intuitive and impactful designs.
- Creative and Innovative: You bring a strong aesthetic eye and have demonstrated success in creating exceptional, user-focused interfaces across complex platforms.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a proven track record of delivering pixel-perfect designs with attention to detail, particularly across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborative: You thrive in cross-functional environments and are skilled at working with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create shared success.
- Curious and Growth-Oriented: You continuously stay ahead of UI/UX trends and techniques, regularly participating in industry workshops, conferences, or certifications.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating mobile design expertise.
- Proficiency in design tools; Figma & Framer
- Strong experience working on consumer mobile applications
- Strong understanding of design systems and creating scalable UI components.
- Experience with user research and usability testing techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and experience working on high-impact, user-facing products.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience designing for healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with front-end development (React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $140,000 to $180,000, in addition to equity and benefits. The salary range listed in each job posting represents the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across all locations. Actual compensation within this range is determined by various factors, such as job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and location.
