Job Description

 Senior Product Analyst, APAC Payments

We’re looking for a Senior Product Analyst who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders to partner with our product and operational teams to help drive data-driven decisions that support our fast-growing payment infrastructure in APAC.

As a Senior Product Analyst, you’ll be driving analytics efforts for our newly formed APAC Payments Team. You will be the central owner for the data driving dozens of banking partner integrations, focusing on identifying high-impact expansion opportunities and driving technical and operating efficiencies. Your insights will be the catalyst for making transfers faster and cheaper for our customers.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Inform Product Decisions: Provide data-driven insights to inform product decisions, from improving technical integrations to identifying regional expansion opportunities.

  • Monitor and Alert: Own the performance monitoring and alerting process for payment integrations (latency, success rates, etc.) so teams are notified of issues in a timely manner.

  • KPI Alignment: Partner with Product Managers to set KPIs for the APAC Payments team, measuring the impact of new features (e.g., confirmation of payee) and tracking integration reliability.

  • Strategic Sizing: Size and track the performance of new banking partner integrations and identify optimization opportunities for cost-efficiency.

  • Customer Impact: Build an understanding of how payment schemes and partner performance impact our retail and enterprise customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 4+ years of relevant experience in a data-driven and complex environment.

  • Analytical Mind: Strong product intuition, ideally centered around the banking and financial industry (experience with 'account-to-account' payments is a plus).

  • Technical Skill-set: Proficiency in Python, advanced SQL, and BI tools.

  • Collaboration: Experience working with technical teams (PMs, engineers, designers).

  • Hustler-mentality: You can take work beyond the analysis and get things done.

Additional Information

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.
Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
