Principal Product Manager Personal Financial Management
Salary Range - $160,000 to $185,000
About MoneyLion
MoneyLion is a leader in financial technology powering the next generation of personalized products and content — with a top consumer finance super app, a premier embedded finance platform for enterprise businesses, and a world-class media arm. Our mission is simple: to give everyone the power to make their best financial decisions.
We serve millions of Americans through a seamless digital experience that combines innovative financial tools, engaging content, and personalized offers across our ecosystem. With over 1,100+ enterprise partners, MoneyLion connects consumers to the financial products they need — when and where they need them.
About the Role
This is not a growth or marketplace role, it is focused on internal product infrastructure, platform unification, and enabling intelligent user experiences through AI.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead our Personal Financial Management (PFM) strategy — a critical pillar of MoneyLion’s engagement and monetization roadmap. Today, PFM capabilities like account linking, credit monitoring, and financial insights are fragmented across multiple teams. This role will unify those efforts into a cohesive roadmap, reduce user friction, and lay the foundation for our long-term “Home Hub” vision: a centralized, intelligent financial command center for our users.
You’ll be responsible for delivering quick wins that improve the user journey, while also designing the infrastructure and strategy to embed AI into the PFM experience — from smarter transaction categorization to proactive financial insights and journey diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve the end-to-end PFM product strategy, roadmap, and execution.
Consolidate fragmented PFM initiatives across teams into a unified, user-centric experience.
Define and deliver the “Home Hub” — a centralized financial dashboard that drives engagement and monetization.
Partner with AI/ML, Design, Engineering, and Data teams to embed intelligence into the product (e.g., transaction enrichment, personalized nudges, journey diagnostics).65
Identify and prioritize quick wins that reduce friction and improve user retention.
Define success metrics and lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable impact.
Champion experimentation and data-driven decision-making across the PFM surface.
About You
5+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, consumer apps, or data-rich platforms.
Proven track record of shipping user-facing products that drive engagement and retention.
Strong product sense with a bias for action and a passion for solving real customer problems.
Experience working with AI/ML teams or applying data science to product experiences is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you can align cross-functional teams around a shared vision.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex, fast-paced environments.
What We Offer
A mission-driven company with a bold vision to improve financial outcomes for millions.
A collaborative, high-impact product culture with strong executive support.
Competitive compensation and equity packages.
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
Generous PTO and flexible work arrangements.
A chance to shape the future of personal finance at scale.
