An overview of this role

As a Senior Pricing Manager you will bring  pricing and packaging domain expertise, helping contribute to the overall success of the monetization strategy of GitLab. This role reports to the VP of Product Monetization

You will be essential in contributing to the success of our pricing and a packaging strategy to GitLab’s portfolio. This team is primarily focused on several key areas of the business including the development and implementation of new product pricing strategy and driving towards our long term monetization goals.  Your role will be to help continue building and maturing the pricing function, bringing a keen sense for data and analytics. 

What You’ll Do  

  • Play a key role in the development and implementation of pricing strategies for our individual product offerings
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer data to inform pricing decisions
  • Conduct regular pricing reviews to help create plans for optimization
  • Monitor performance of ongoing initiatives and pricing and packaging changes.
  • Partner with key stakeholders in Sales Strategy, Finance, and Marketing on key strategic initiatives

What You’ll Bring 

  • 5+ years of experience in managing SaaS pricing strategy and analysis
  • Experience in financial analysis and modeling
  • Familiarity in pricing research methodologies, such as conjoint, Van Westendorp, and max diff analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Comfortable working in an environment of ambiguity, driving towards clarity to achieve results
  • Successful track record of maintaining alignment across key cross functional stakeholders

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.

$117,600$252,000 USD
