Senior Marketing Campaign Specialist

As Acquia’s Senior Marketing Campaign Specialist, you are responsible for enabling our global marketing programs through a fully optimized technology and database infrastructure. You will take the lead on running scalable processes and cross-functional initiatives to ensure we integrate and implement innovative marketing automation processes to improve our revenue pipeline. You will be the technical expert responsible for managing the health, integration, and flow of data between our marketing automation platform and our CRM.

Working closely with Revenue Operations and Salesforce Developers counterparts, you'll ensure we grow and maintain our campaign automations, audience management, and CRM programs. You will ensure the stakeholders comply with established SLAs, operational procedures, and the highest QA standards; while managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring the best data quality.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Strategy & Automation:

  • Design, build, and deploy complex automated marketing campaigns, nurture programs, and email communications primarily within Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement).
  • Experience in promotional email creation. Basic HTML knowledge preferred.
  • Maintain and improve business process automation related to lead routing, data cleansing, campaign attribution, and synchronization.
  • Understand the Salesforce data structure, ensuring a deep understanding of the relationship between Lead, Account, and Opportunity objects for accurate segmentation and reporting.
  • Audit utilization and performance of all Marketing Automation Programs, targeted lists, and more for quality standards.
  • Ongoing maintenance/data hygiene and privacy best practices of contact and lead database.

Compliance and Relationship Management:

  • Ensure adherence to GDPR and other data privacy regulations, setting compliance standards for the organization.
  • Build and maintain positive, trust-based relationships with all stakeholders through transparency, accountability, and proactive communication.
  • Develop services and processes tailored to exceed customer expectations, ensuring customer-centric strategies are embedded in all operations.
  • Provide governance and compliance recommendations and support.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of dedicated experience working with Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, Marketing Cloud or similar (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), including advanced features (e.g., Engagement Studio, B2B Marketing Analytics).
  • Required Expertise: Hands-on experience creating, modifying, and troubleshooting marketing automation programs
  • Required Expertise: Strong, technical understanding of the Salesforce data model, specifically how the Lead, Account, Contact, and Opportunity objects interact and drive marketing metrics.
  • Proven track record in delivering projects from internal kickoff through launch.
  • Strong communication skills with various personality types, and a clear ability to set and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience with project management software, preferably JIRA and Asana.
  • Familiarity and experience with additional marketing technologies such as Groove, 6Sense, DOMO, is a plus
