How you’ll make an impact:
- The Senior Manager will actively manage and support the EMEA Treasury Cash Management team, including daily cash positioning, cash pooling, electronic payment processing, and maintenance of Treasury Management System data.
- Prepare daily cash positioning and cash forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity for transactions by partnering with the regions (primarily focusing on EMEA) to support banking and treasury needs.
- Actively use key modules in Kyriba TMS (Bank Relationship, Cash and Liquidity, Financial Transactions, Payment, Core Data), maintain core data set-up within the treasury management system (Kyriba), and implement enhancements to the treasury management system and connected systems.
- Manage banking relationships with core global banks and local banks in the EMEA region within the delegated mandate, focusing on having the best banking partners for cash management services.
- Improve the operational efficiency of EMEA Treasury operations in terms of digitalization, automation, streamlining, and accuracy.
- Execute wires for the settlement of Treasury payments (funding requests, intercompany netting settlements, FX hedges, and ad hoc Treasury-related payments).
- Administer the online banking portal, including the addition, modification, and deletion of users, as well as the administration of bank accounts (opening and closing) and associated KYC support.
- Manage trade finance activities (guarantee facilities, guarantee issuance, review of documentary payments) and partner with business units on risk mitigation.
- Manage the credit card program – maintain the credit card program, manage the credit card limits, and partner with T&E regarding credit card program implementation.
- Build and maintain partnerships across the organization and contribute added value (partner with Business Service Center teams, sales team, local finance teams, business operation teams, legal and HR teams).
- Support SOX and external audits
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting AND approx. 10 years of previous related experience in Cash Management in EMEA region required
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Experience with treasury management system (Kyriba) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strict attention to detail
- Solid experience with MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and related financial systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to reporting and month-end processes
- Good understanding of SOX controls
- Solid knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Expertise in own functional area and ability to coach others in various functional areas impacted within the business
- Ability to interact professionally and independently with all organizational levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the department on projects
