We are now looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal, Risk and Compliance team.
The Role
The Senior Legal Counsel will report directly to the Chief Legal and Risk Officer and play a pivotal role in shaping and protecting the legal and commercial foundations of our fast-growing business. This is a high-exposure role advising across a wide range of matters, from commercial contracts and data governance to intellectual property and corporate transactions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with leadership, contribute to the firm’s growth agenda, and help build a best-in-class legal function in a dynamic and AI-enabled environment. Will consider hybrid working and 4 days a week for the right person.
What You’ll Do
Draft, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial contracts, including client services, technology, and strategic partnership agreements.
Provide legal support across multiple practice areas, including IP, data protection, and AI governance frameworks.
Partner with business leaders to support growth initiatives, ensuring commercial, pragmatic, and risk-balanced advice.
Support cross-border matters, advising on legal and regulatory issues across multiple jurisdictions.
Assist with corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, and investments, particularly within PE-backed environments.
Provide training, guidance, and practical advice to business teams on key legal and compliance issues.
Embrace and leverage AI-driven tools in the delivery of legal services, contributing to innovation within the legal function.
Work flexibly across areas of legal need, helping the team remain agile and adaptable as the business scales.
What You Bring
Qualified lawyer with strong commercial contracts experience gained in both private practice and in-house (including secondments).
Proven track record advising fast-growth technology companies.
Deep commercial acumen with the ability to balance legal risk with business opportunity.
Solid knowledge of AI, data governance, and intellectual property frameworks.
Adaptability to move across legal practice areas as business needs evolve.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
Pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting PE-backed companies.
Exposure to cross-jurisdictional matters and international transactions.
Hands-on involvement in M&A and other corporate transactions.
Familiarity with innovative and AI-enabled legal service delivery models.
