This role is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact legal function, directly supporting commercial growth, operational integrity, and risk mitigation.

You’ll be a key business partner, advising on commercial contracts, regulatory risk, and corporate matters, and helping build a global, scalable legal operation.

As a trusted in-house legal partner, you’ll:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and People teams to enable efficient, risk-aware deal execution.
  • Provide legal guidance on federal and state laws, including employment law, data privacy, and sales practices.
  • Support and enhance legal operations, including contract lifecycle management and template optimization.
  • Monitor and advise on relevant U.S. regulatory trends, particularly in cybersecurity and financial services.
  • Lead or contribute to internal legal training, documentation updates (e.g., Legal Handbook), and process improvements.
  • Supervise two paralegals (with a focus on the U.S.-based team member).
  • Participate in regular in-person meetings at our Plano, TX office under our hybrid working model.

Your Core Competencies

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Commercially-minded & pragmatic: You balance legal risk with business opportunity and have a solutions-focused mindset.
  • A skilled negotiator & communicator: You can simplify the complex and collaborate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive & adaptable: You anticipate legal risks, stay ahead of regulatory developments, and thrive in a fast-growing, evolving environment.
  • Detail-oriented & organized: You manage deadlines, juggle competing priorities, and ensure legal documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • A team leader & contributor: You foster teamwork, manage & mentor others, and live our values through every interaction.

Your Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited U.S. law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years’ experience, ideally a mix of in-house legal and private practice with focus on commercial and corporate law.
  • Experience advising high-growth tech or SaaS companies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. contract law, commercial negotiations, and employment law.
  • Experience working in or with regulated industries (e.g., finance, insurance, health) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead legal trainings and build internal legal enablement resources.

What we offer

  • Competitive base salary with performance-driven incentives.
  • Hybrid, flexible working (Plano HQ office + remote).
  • Health, Dental, Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) with 4% match
  • 22 PTO days, increasing with tenure, plus 10 Federal/Regional holidays

  • $1,000 Annual professional development allowance
  • Work-from-anywhere benefit (4 weeks/year)
  • Volunteer day each year
