TITLE: Senior JavaScript Web Developer
DUTIES: Develop Infotainment Applications for the automotive cockpit systems in embedded head unit; build JavaScript, HTML 5 and automotive applications; collaborate with different functional groups, analyze business requirements, use cases, and offer solutions in a constrained environment; take business requirements from users in the North American region and collaborate with teammates worldwide to provide solutions to meet regulatory requirements in different regions; develop web-applications to deploy to the Linux and Android system, as well as apps for phones using Android and iOS; develop websites and backend services for automotive applications; perform unit testing using JUnit or Google Mock framework; develop backend services for automotive applications using Microservice Architecture; develop the front end of applications using NodeJS framework; design user interfaces which are easy to navigate for the people in different regions; design and implement APIs; deploy applications and microservices in the AWS cloud environment; ensure the reliability of the web services to access by millions of user simultaneously; create and automate the system testing and stress testing for APIs. Up to 20% domestic and international travel required.
Preferred QualificationsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related and 7 years of experience in job offered or related position. Alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related and 5 years of experience in job offered or related position. Experience must include: working with AWS and ReactNative; working with one of the following: Python, PHP, Javascript, Perl, or TCL/TK; working with JavaScript Frameworks, including ReactJS or Node/Express or jQuery or Angular; experience with UNIX/Linux; using HTML5 and CSS3 apps; building full-stack, responsive web applications; working in digital production of large-scale technology-related projects.
