Senior Java Developer

At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineer – Senior Professional I, you will play a critical role in designing, developing and maintaining high‑quality software applications. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that align with the business goals of Fiserv and client needs.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of software applications to support the business goals of Fiserv.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write, test and debug code to ensure applications meet performance and quality standards.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to strengthen team capability.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • Proven experience in software development.
  • Experience with Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience working with SQL databases.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies.
  • An equivalent combination of educational background, related experience or military service.
