  • Advise on IAM risk mitigation strategies and ensure IAM risks are integrated into enterprise risk management processes.
  • Monitor IAM systems (e.g., SailPoint ISC, Active Directory including Entra ID, CyberArk, BeyondTrust) and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) to identify and advise on security risks.
  • Stay informed about the latest IAM technologies and best practices, including SSO, passwordless authentication, and emerging threats, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Influence and collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and technical teams to drive adoption of IAM governance and best practices.
  • Champion change management efforts for new IAM policies, technologies, and processes; address and manage resistance to change across the organization.
  • Advise on investigation of security incidents related to identity and access management and recommend corrective actions.
  • Escalate governance issues and ensure timely resolution through advisory and collaboration.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports (annual, quarterly, monthly) on IAM program status, effectiveness, incidents, metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate IAM standards and policies to users and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Develop and track KPIs and metrics to measure and report on the effectiveness of the IAM program; utilize metrics and benchmarking to drive continuous improvement and alignment with industry standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive adoption and understanding of IAM standards and practices.
  • Support succession planning and career development for IAM team members.
