We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Leader to drive human resources strategy and execution across our manufacturing operations. This role partners with Plant Management to align workforce planning with business goals, ensure labor compliance, and build a high-performance culture.
You’ll oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, labor relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and community relations in a unionized, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Partner with leadership on staffing, talent development, and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with Contrato Ley, labor laws, and company policies.
Lead labor relations and union negotiations.
Promote employee engagement and a culture of operational excellence.
Manage HR processes: recruitment, benefits, compensation, performance, and employee relations.
Support the plant’s Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with environmental policies and ISO 14001:2015.
What We’re Looking For
Required: Bachelor’s in HR, Administration, Engineering, or Psychology.
Preferred: Master’s in HR; experience with business analysis and KPIs.
10+ years in HR roles, ideally in global companies (500+ employees).
7–10 years in HR leadership within manufacturing.
Strong experience in union environments and labor negotiations.
Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, ISO, or Lean.
Preferred: Tire or automotive manufacturing experience.
What Will Set You Apart
Deep knowledge of Federal Labor Law, Social Security Law, and "Law Contract".
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and team-building skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coaching abilities.
Knowledge of environmental compliance, ISO 14001:2015, ICHE procedures, and machine symbology.
