What is it that we do at Colonial Pipeline Company?

Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans.

About the Senior HRIS Analyst Position

As a Senior HRIS Analyst, you are a key Human Resources (HR) organization member. The Senior HRIS Analyst will support and optimize the Workday and Cornerstone OnDemand platforms to enhance HR operations and improve user experience. This position involves analyzing system processes, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that HR systems meet organizational needs.

What You Get to Do:

  • Provide expertise in multiple modules in the Workday HCM suite including HCM Core, Benefits, Payroll, Time/Absence, Talent, and Recruiting. (Estimated 40% of FTE focused on this accountability)
  • Manage and maintain Colonial Pipeline’s learning management system and administer the ongoing course configuration activities of set-up, enrollment, tracking, completion data, and reporting. (Estimated 30% of FTE focused on this accountability)
  • Manage and maintain Colonial Pipeline’s job description management system.
  • Provides LMS training and establishes usage rights for administrators, HR, managers, field compliance representatives, employees, and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s).
  • Provide technical support to HR staff and employees for system-related inquiries and issues.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users on system functionality and best practices.
  • Manage HR data entry, updates, and reporting within Cornerstone and Workday.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system enhancement opportunities and support the implementation of new features or modules.
  • Evaluate existing HR processes and recommend improvements to leverage system capabilities more effectively.
  • Participate in HRIS-related projects, including system integrations and migrations.
  • Work with IT and external vendors as needed to support HRIS initiatives.
  • Manages contractor staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational policies regarding HR data.
  • Partner with HR and IT teams to ensure alignment of HRIS initiatives with overall business goals.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education.
  • Ideally, 5+ years of HRIS and LMS systems experience, preferably Workday, Cornerstone, or similar applications.
  • Experience in working in an agile delivery model with a strong understanding of the system development lifecycle process.
  • Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Company’s core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments.
  • Self-motivated, have a phenomenal work ethic and looking for the right company to support your growth.

Got Extra to Bring?

  • 5+ years of experience administering Workday preferred.
  • Experience in JDExpert.
  • Experience in HR Shared Services support model.
  • Experience with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery.
  • Experience developing reports/dashboards and analyzing data.
  • Change management knowledge and/or experience in the creation of training materials.
  • Experience working with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and follow professionally accepted instructional design methods such as ADDIE or ISD.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, Workday HCM Suite certification (e.g., Pro).
