We are seeking a Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer to join our Industrialization team and contribute to the development of reliable, high-performance electronics for professional audio systems. This role is pivotal in bridging R&D and production, ensuring that hardware designs are robust, scalable, and optimized for manufacturing and testing.
You will lead the design and implementation of test benches, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement in hardware reliability and performance. You will also play a key role in monitoring industry trends, mentoring team members, and collaborating across departments to deliver world-class audio solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate hardware test benches for audio amplifier production using CAD tools (Altium, etc.).
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by adapting R&D designs for scalable and cost-effective manufacturing.
- Develop and optimize PCBs, analog/digital circuits, and electronic interfaces for industrialization.
- Organize and oversee pre series production and testing processes.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional communication with R&D, Production, Purchasing, and external contractors.
- Investigate and resolve hardware-related issues during development and production.
- Monitor the electronics industry to identify and integrate innovative technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with EMC, electrical safety, and certification standards.
- Focus on reliability and performance as top priorities in design and implementation.
- Coach and support other team members within the team.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics.
- 5-10 years of experience in Electronics hardware development, audio industry is a plus.
- Proven expertise in:
- Analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, and simulation (e.g., SPICE).
- DSP, FPGA, power electronics, and component technologies.
- Lab equipment (oscilloscopes, audio analyzers, RF analyzers, etc.).
- EMC and electrical safety standards.
- Familiarity with automation tools (LabVIEW, …)
- Coding knowledge in C, Python, … is a strong asset.
- Good soldering skills and hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German or French is a plus.
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and methods.
