Overview of Position

Support Corebridge strategic initiatives and compliance/legal requirements.

  • Update existing and create new forms as required.
  • Create fillable digital PDFs for forms as needed.
  • Ensure that various form user-interface technologies are functional and user-friendly.
  • Ensure ADA-compliant design requirements are established within all applicable forms.
  • Research new ways of working—using technology to ensure our form-update process is efficient and up to date.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to form-design tools.
  • Collaborate to ensure forms are ready for hand off to internal and external clients within appropriate timeframe to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure forms are ready to be printed where required and/or ready to be posted to various repositories (including company websites, catalog/order systems) within appropriate timeframe to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Process edits received from Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Policy Owner Services, New Business, or other functional areas and update forms and applications as appropriate.
  • Make sure forms and applications are updated in a timely manner to meet compliance mandates and product release schedules.
  • Create press-ready PDFs (print versions) for printer.
  • Create form-fill versions of PDFs that can be accessed on our company websites.
  • Understand and write simple JavaScript programming within form-fill PDFs to accommodate special requirements for specific data fields.
  • Coordinate internally to make sure forms are ready to be printed and posted to company website within appropriate timeframe to meet deadlines.
  • Keep abreast of changes in technology—be knowledgeable about new releases of Adobe, InDesign, and other software products or tools that could be utilized by our department to streamline and enhance our productivity.
  • Maintain InDesign and PDF files on server in organized manner following department protocol and best practices.
  • Maintain department’s style guide to ensure design/layout consistency among forms and lead a continuous process improvement in this area.
  • Assist with converting existing Word forms and applications to Adobe InDesign.

What you need to know

  • Minimum 6+ years related work experience.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on the same project multiple times.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced-to-expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat. At least eight years of experience with InDesign with good understanding of layout, formatting, and design.
  • Mid-level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Extensive experience in working with form design/form updating in the information technology and/or financial services sector.
  • Good technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience with web technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills. Maintain PDF files on server following department protocol in organized manner.
  • Strong work ethic and high level of personal accountability.
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, creative-thinking, and quantitative skills.
  • Strong business planning skills, with a bias to problem solve and take action. Consistent track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Manages effectively with vision and purpose, develops organizational capability, demonstrates solid flexibility orientation, as well as a bias toward effectively navigating continual change management. Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work across diverse department channels, business functions and teams that are geographically dispersed.

For positions based in Woodland, Hills California the base salary range is $60,000-$72,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
