The Senior Financial Analyst, Technology FP&A is responsible for supporting a corporate technology alliance function, working closely with business leaders and their leadership teams. This role assists the leaders in the decision making process, providing insightful and action oriented financial analysis, applying best practices, and new perspectives to solve complex problems. They will support implementation and execution of driver-based forecasting and will help define and lead cost efficiency initiatives in partnership with business leaders. This person will interact with leadership to deliver financial information in a concise and meaningful manner.
Reporting to the VP of Finance - Corporate Technology, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely two days a week, or from our office located in Alpharetta. (This is NOT a fully remote role.)
This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
What you’ll do:Lead complex financial analyses around the Technology Global Platforms, month end close and reporting and bottom up budget
Interface with senior management to deliver financial information in a concise and meaningful manner to foster effective decision making such as analysis of business trends/scenarios and key drivers, development of management reporting to analyze monthly financial and operating results and key metrics.
Support the CTO and technology leaders to measure and manage delivery of expected milestones against ongoing spend
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 3 years experience in FP&A
Experience in headcount management and planning for capitalized development
Large ERP experience is required. Oracle Hyperion / Essbase is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, & scenario modeling - specifically balance sheet & income statement impact analysis
Proven oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate granular data from varying sources into cohesive operational recommendations
Proven understanding of financial aspects of software development lifecycle
Excellent leadership, teamwork and service skills
Proficient MS Excel reporting / financial modeling skills
Experience in Cloud based IT environments
Technology Finance experience including preparation and presentation of complex business cases
Experience with leadership communication - digesting, compiling, and presenting data
