Responsibilities will include the following and other duties may be assigned, as applicable:
Provide strategic finance support for Marketing, Training/Education, and administrative functions within CAS to ensure alignment with goals and objectives
Perform detailed variance analysis, comparing actual results against budgeted figures, and provide insightful commentary to management
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership, highlighting key financial trends, variances, and recommendations for improvement
Standardize processes to provide business performance insights
Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across Medtronic finance
Educate business partners on financial topics and policies
Lead the development and deployment of annual KPIs and processes
Handle ad-hoc requests and special projects as needed
Nice to Have:
CPA or MBA
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Experience with Essbase, OneStream, and/or SAP
Requirements: Requires a Baccalaureate degree AND minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
