As a Senior Expert Software & Applications Finance you will provide software and applications expertise and be responsible for implementation of the solutions.
How you will contribute
You will oversee the planning and execution of software and applications. To do so, you will be part of our SAP COP team together with other stakeholders and external suppliers and use your deep technical and market knowledge and thorough understanding of our business goals find and deploy the right software and application solutions for the future, with the focus on SAP applications and best practices You will support the program of software renovation, focusing on SAP S/4HANA implementing regional and global software and application strategies, offer input to financial planning and controls for software and applications on a regional and global level, collaborate with management and follow-up on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments, explores opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings, and ensure that support service level objectives and key performance indicators are accomplished.
What you need to know about this position:
SAP COP is engaged in multiple parallel projects and initiatives globally from current SAP Optimization and Continuous Improvement, to new solutions implementation, M&A's, On premise and Cloud solutions, with complex integrations; and an aggressive agenda.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Good overview knowledge of SAP ERP modules and architecture in ECC and S/4HANA
  • Expert knowledge in some of the Finance modules (FI, GL, AM, CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-PA, AP/AR, TRM etc.)
  • Knowledge of integration points and techniques between Finance, other SAP components and 3rd party applications
  • Overview of cross-application business processes
  • Hands-on experience with ECC and S/4 in application and configuration
  • Experience with understanding and writing specifications for configuration or development projects in the finance area
  • Experience with understanding custom solutions and how to bring them back to standard
  • Managing large-scale software and application services
  • Program/Project management with experience managing multiple projects for budgets, resources, schedules and quality


What else should you bring?

  • 4-8 years of experience in large SAP ERP implementations across all SAP modules
  • Solid experience working with business process leads on streamlining functional requirements to propose standard SAP solutions
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
  • Experience with BPO and RPA
  • Outstanding communication skills, ability to coordinate and supervise the work of multiple workstreams running in parallel
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills; ability to work effectively with global teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - communicate in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluate information / data to make decisions, anticipate obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans
  • Good understanding of business processes, coupled with the ability to effectively partner with functional managers to manage portfolio


Travel requirements: up to 30%
