This role is part of the Global Business Services Workplace Technology (WPT) Engineering team that providing services to a global userbase of around 25.000 colleagues.
Wolters Kluwer is planning to implement Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) technology for device management of Windows 10 endpoints. This will include security and applications patches, Windows o/s upgrades, software deployments and zero touch new device deployments. The intent is to run MEM in co-management mode leveraging Microsoft Configuration Manager and Intune.
The implementation will be driven by Workplace Technology engineering staff, but will involve supporting Global Business Services teams like security, and networking, but also regular engagement with Wolters Kluwer business representatives.
The work activities as part of this role will focus on supporting the global transition to Microsoft Endpoint Manager and subsequent ongoing endpoint management.
Key responsibilities
- Proven experience in design, and delivery of similar MEM implementations for large, global organizations, across countries, languages, time zones and leadership governances
- Interpret and prioritize requirements and activities for technical service operations and improvements
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to maintain positive working relationships
- Facilitating meetings and workshops (i.e. security patch briefings, requirement gathering, collaboration, trainings, status reporting)
- Expert in operational processes and projects for endpoint patching, Windows client o/s upgrades and software packaging and deployments
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Microsoft Endpoint Manager Technology for global enterprise environments:
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager, both Configuration Manager and Intune
- Supporting infrastructure components – networking, DNS and firewalls
- Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- Windows 10/11 servicing – patching, (zero touch) upgrading and deployments
- Application servicing – patching, upgrades and deployments
- Mac O/S servicing – patching, upgrading and deployments
- Relevant Microsoft 365 technology stack experience, i.e. Autopilot, device compliance, Windows Hello
- Certifications:
- 70-703 Administering Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Cloud Services Integration
- MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops
