POSITION SUMMARY
C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide expert consultation on employee relations, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and our core values. You'll collaborate with employees, managers, executives, and HR on complex issues, manage performance and termination processes, and maintain employment-related documents. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide comprehensive consultation on employee relations, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and C.H. Robinson values
- Consult with employees, managers, executives, and Human Resources on complex issues, offering solutions on policy, performance management, coaching, discipline, investigations, and terminations
- Manage performance management and termination processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company interests, including severance calculations
- Draft, review, and maintain employment-related documents in accordance with company policies and local laws
- Review and improve internal processes, driving compliant solutions that support business objectives
- Stay current on employment regulations, ensuring company policies and processes are aligned
- Investigate employee issues, recommend actions, maintain accurate documentation, and influence outcomes with leaders
- Develop proactive strategies to enhance C.H. Robinson’s work environment
- Analyze case management data for trends and collaborate with stakeholders to address issues
- Serve as a regional subject matter expert and contribute to project success
- Work with internal legal counsel on vendor and cost management with external legal resources
- Coordinate and complete local reporting and assessments, ensuring compliance and making recommendations based on outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bilingual fluency in written and verbal French/English
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Employee Relations
- In depth knowledge of Canadian and Quebec labor laws and regulations
- Ability to travel up to 10%; some travel to U.S.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or relevant field.
- Chartered Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation, an asset.
- Ability to develop strong relationships and partner with managers, executives, and other Human Resources departments.

Compensation Range
$67,300.00 - $103,500.00The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all Canada locations. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
