Senior Director, ERP Implementation & Delivery Leader

(Hybrid Role – 4 days/week in office, Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ERP Implementation Lead to oversee the design, delivery, and support of Nextpower’s enterprise-wide ERP transformation program. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing the full lifecycle of ERP implementation across Order Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Operations. The ERP Implementation Lead will ensure global business processes are standardized, scalable, and optimized to support Nextpower’s rapid growth and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of deep ERP implementation expertise (Oracle Fusion Cloud or SAP preferred) in a hands-on techno-function lead in prior implementations and proven experience driving large-scale ERP transformation initiatives in complex, global organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• ERP Delivery Leadership: Build a strong ERP center of excellence with strong solution design and delivery capability. Techno-functional leader who can manage and execute tasks from discovery to post-go-live stabilization, ensuring successful adoption across all functional areas.
• Solution Design: Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, HR, and Operations to understand business requirements, design and deliver ERP-enabled solutions.
• Technical Delivery: Responsible for the technical delivery for the future state design solution working closely with the functional teams. Bring the technical expertise to deliver solutions in close collaboration with the ERP center of excellence team. Have a strong techno-functional background to deliver solution set.
• ERP Setup, Configuration and Instance Management: Hands on responsibility of managing setups, configuration across Dev, Test and Prod instances of ERP. Work with the audit and SOX functions to build the ITGC ground up in this new ERP.
• Business Process Transformation: Ensure business process synchronization across functional tracks to drive implementation of the future state in the new ERP.
• Drive the Integration and Data migration work stream from design to delivery and ensure multiple rounds of testing are done in alignment with conference room pilots, system test and user acceptance tests.
• Ensure completeness and timeliness of reporting and analytics work to enable business insights at the point of cutover for the functional stakeholders.
• Change Management: Lead communication, training, and adoption strategies to minimize disruption and maximize business value from ERP.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Leverage emerging technologies (including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and advanced analytics) to drive ongoing ERP and process enhancements.
• Ensure availability, reliability and security of IT systems (software, incident reporting, monitoring dashboards, document control)
• Implement cybersecurity controls for EHS-critical systems (monitoring platforms, SCADA interfaces where applicable)
• Maintain data backups, disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Support remote working and safety requirements
• Authorities:
• Define access control, data security and system usage policies
• Restrict or revoke system access in case of security risks
• Approve IT system changes impacting EHS data or operations

• Accountabilities:

• Integrity, availability and confidentiality of EHS data
• System uptime for EHS reporting and monitoring
• Timely recovery from IT incidents affecting EHS functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 20+ years of ERP implementation and IT systems experience, with at least 10+ years in ERP implementation leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale ERP programs (Oracle Fusion Cloud or SAP strongly preferred).
• Broad functional understanding across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Order Management and Revenue management modules.
• Strong program management skills, with experience managing multi-phase, global rollouts.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, executive reporting, and communication skills.
• Track record of partnering with business leaders to deliver transformation and measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• ERP vendor certifications (Oracle/SAP).
• PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent program management credentials.
• Experience in renewable energy, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR) and data governance best practices.
