The DevOps Developer designs, implements, and maintains tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software. They work closely with developers, testers, and system administrators. They will mentor junior team members, and lead some DevOps projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test deployment of Well Architected AWS cloud infrastructure
- Operate cloud infrastructure and provide on call support
- Perform technology evaluation and selection of managed cloud services
- Champion uptime, reliability, compliance, and security
- Mentor junior engineers in IaC and CI/CD practices
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure
- Strong understanding of containers and Docker
- Strong networking skills
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines
- Experience designing and deploying cloud Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with streaming services such as Kafka, Kinesis
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, ELK, Splunk
- Experience with Python
- Linux system administration and scripting
- DBA experience is a nice-to-have
