The Role

Position Purpose:

Play a crucial role in defining the vision and roadmap for a portfolio of highly visible data and analytics products and services. Guide product development and delivery, managing product lifecycles, and ensuring product value achievement based on stakeholder-aligned objectives and goals. Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders to understand needs, trends, market influences, and technical challenges, creating and communicating product roadmaps. Define product hierarchies, user personas, and product objectives, ensuring development and delivery teams have the support they need. Using customer feedback and performance metrics, make data-driven decisions for future development. Your expertise in Agile methodologies will drive our product vision and strategy, making you the key expert in driving product innovation and success for the business. Serve as a mentor to other Product Managers.

  • Defining Product Vision and Strategy: Responsible for collaborating with multiple business stakeholders and sponsors to define product vision, strategy, and goals that align to short and long-term market needs and goals for multiple highly visible products
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to assess and benchmark competing products, determine customer needs, external forces, and technical challenges and opportunities to define short and long-term roadmaps.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Lead data driven product decisions to invest, replatform, migrate, or retire.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Be a trusted partner and go-to expert on product effectiveness, opportunities, and experiences. Lead engagement with multiple stakeholders to understand changes to their strategies, priorities, and goals in order to maintain alignment with the product expectations.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer and ensure their customer journey painpoints are accounted for and align to short and long-term product strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Advocate and champion iterative processes that continually refine and enhance product innovation and delivery.
  • Risk Management: Foresee and communicate potential technical, market, or external variables that pose a risk to product success and orchestrating risk mitigation options and solutions.
  • Metrics and Key Business Objectives and Results: Define key performance indicators that measure product success and ensure business objectives and key results are achieved. Ensure data and metrics are automated with regular monitoring and corrective planning processes in place.
  • Adoption and Scale: Implement processes to ensure product adoption, enablement, to maximize the value of multiple products.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 4 – 6 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Pay Range: $100,900.00 - $186,800.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
