Senior Data Analyst - 10944

What you will do:

• A. Analytics & Automation: 1. Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, Pyspark. 2. Leverage Github version control, code management, and collaboration tools across global projects. 3. Automate recurring reporting and analysis processes to improve team bandwidth and efficiency. 4. Design, build, and automate dashboards and analytical models in Tableau / Power BI to track KPIs across customer lifecycle, spend, and adoption metrics. 5. Leverage ML techniques for predictive analytics, anomaly detection and automation . 6. Work with AI/ML libraries like Tensorflow or Pytorch to prototype models. Train, tune, and evaluate a variety of models (linear models, decision trees, XG boosting, etc)
• B. Strategic Insights & Value Storytelling: 1. Partner with Sales, Value Advisory and Customer Success teams to quantify business impact through benchmarks, value analytics, ROI models. 2. Conduct diagnostic and predictive analysis on customer spend patterns, supplier efficiency, sourcing optimization to highlight actional improvement opportunities. 3. Translate analytical findings into executive ready insights that support strategic business decisions
• C. Process Excellence & collaboration: 1. Establish standardized frameworks , reusable code repositories and data documentation to ensure scalability and consistency. 2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify data gaps, quality and align key business metrics 3. Contribute to internal knowledge bases and promote data driven best practice across global regions.
• D. Mentorship & Continuous Improvement 1. Mentor junior analysts in SQL, Python and business storytelling. 2. Drive adoption of modern data practices (e.g. Github versioning, code reviews, data automation) 3. Participate in global syncs and contribute to innovation initiatives across the analytics function 4. Proactively maintain project trackers and JIRA tasks for the team
• E. Web & Application Development 1. Design, develop and maintain web based analytics tools and dashboards using Java, Reactjs and Nodejs 2. Build APIs and integrate with back end data with front end visualization layers for seamless user experiences 3. Use github for code versioning, collaboration and deployment

What you will bring to Coupa:

• 4–6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or strategy roles (preferably in SaaS, consulting, or procurement domains).
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Java and at least one visualization tool (Tableau, Sigma, Power BI). Working knowledge of Excel, dashboarding, and data modeling best practices.
• Experience with Github for code collaboration and version control.
• Proven experience in building business cases with powerpoint/Gslides, dashboards, or ROI models tied to Source-to-Pay (S2P) or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Business Acumen: Solid understanding of procurement and finance concepts (spend under management, sourcing savings, AP automation, supplier risk).
• Communication: Strong presentation and storytelling skills; ability to translate technical insights into executive-ready narratives.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities across geographies and time zones..


• Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Analytics, or Business Strategy.
• Experience with Coupa, Ariba, or other procurement platforms.
• Prior experience supporting pre-sales, value advisory, business intelligence or customer success teams.
