Job Description
As a Senior CX/UX Researcher, you will join the User Experience department of Wolters Kluwer's Digital Experience Group. In this role, you will be part of a passionate and experienced User Experience Team. Together with colleagues in other disciplines, you will be responsible for the success of a product portfolio. You represent the customer, investigating their needs in the short and long term to elevate the product offering. As a senior member of this team, you will be responsible for the necessary data for decision-making regarding products and will lead the team through the entire process of developing innovative digital products, using proven research methodologies. This is done in accordance with the principles of Design Thinking and Lean Startup in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities:
- As a CX/UX Researcher for our suit of digital research products of Kluwer Law International, you are responsible for making customer needs transparent to identify innovation opportunities.
- Leading research activities during the Discover and Design phases of the innovation process for the advancement of digital products, applying proven methods for research and analyis from Contextual Inquiry to Affinity Mapping.
- Creating research plans for conducting experiments and/or research projects with Wolters Kluwer customers.
- Conducting research to understand the context in which the customer works, identifying Jobs-To-Be-Done, and validating customer needs, value propositions, and product and interaction design.
- Linking insights from quantitative user data with insights from qualitative research to achieve product improvements.
- Inspiring team members with different specialties (from product, technology, sales and more) with insights gathered from user data.
- Supporting the development of digital, user-centered concepts.
- Testing concepts and critical hypotheses to develop a product proposal and a market-ready product beta or Minimum Viable Product.
Requirements:
- Academic degree
- 5 years of professional experience as a UX Researcher (preferably in a product innovation or R&D environment)
- User-centered mindset
- Solid knowledge of exploratory and evaluative methods for user research
- Combination of creativity with technical affinity
- Persuasion with partners and stakeholders to promote collaboration and alignment
- Analytical mind, capable of extracting insights and visions from multiple and complex data sources
- High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal responsibility
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
