Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Control Room Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be responsible for monitoring and controlling various systems, equipment, and processes critical to our operations. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Making decisions aligned with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards, ensuring compliance and safety
- Overseeing systems, equipment, and processes using control panels and computer systems
- Contributing to regular reporting on wind turbine farm efficiency, including technical and commercial metrics
- Addressing alarms and alerts from monitoring systems, investigating and resolving issues promptly
- Implementing emergency procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment
- Maintaining accurate operational records and conducting basic maintenance on control room equipment, reporting issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Higher, College, or Vocational education (engineering-oriented preferred)
- Electrical education background (associate's degree or vocational training)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergencies with attention to detail
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with control systems and equipment.
Would be an advantage:
- Basic knowledge of renewable energy sources (wind turbines, solar collectors) and SCADA principles
- Experience as a control room operator or in a related role
- Proficiency in English and Lithuanian.
