Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud & Security Engineer to design and fortify the infrastructure that powers national-scale AI initiatives. This is not a traditional SysAdmin role; we do not practice "ClickOps."

You will be responsible for building automated, multi-cloud "Landing Zones" and "AI Factories" that are secure by design. You will treat infrastructure and security as code, ensuring that our deployment pipelines are as rigorous as our software engineering. You will move seamlessly between cloud environments (OCI, GCP, Azure), applying universal engineering principles to platform-specific challenges.

Infrastructure & Security Engineering

• Multi-Cloud Architecture: Provision and manage secure, scalable environments across Oracle Cloud (OCI), Google Cloud (GCP), and Azure using Terraform or OpenTofu.
  

• Security hardening: Implement rigorous security controls based on CIS Benchmarks and regional compliance standards. You will ensure data sovereignty and network security are baked into the architecture, not added as an afterthought.
  

• Identity & Access Management: Design Zero Trust architectures, managing complex IAM roles and ensuring secrets are managed programmatically (eg. Vault) without hard-coding.
  

DevSecOps & Observability

• Pipeline Automation: Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate the testing, linting, and deployment of AI models and applications. Ensure security scanning (SAST/DAST) is integrated into every commit.
  

• Observability Strategy:  Configure comprehensive monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) to provide deep visibility into system health. You should be able to detect latency or downtime anomalies before the client does.
  

Internal IP & Asset Development

• Build the Levent Accelerators:  When not strictly deployed on client architecture, you will develop reusable Terraform modules, security policy templates, and automation scripts.
  

• Standardization: Contribute to the creation of Levent’s "Golden Image" standards and "Compliance-as-Code" frameworks to accelerate future delivery and ensure consistency across our portfolio.
  

Professional Experience

• 5-7 Years Experience:  Proven track record in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering roles.
  

• Multi-Cloud Fluency:  Demonstrated ability to adapt to different cloud providers. You understand that while the console changes, the fundamental principles of networking and compute remain the same.
  

Technical Competence

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):  Expert-level proficiency in  Terraform  is non-negotiable. You should be comfortable writing modular, reusable code.
  

• Container Orchestration:  Deep experience with  Kubernetes  (GKE, OKE, AKS) and Docker. You know how to troubleshoot a crashing pod and optimize resource limits.
  

• Scripting & Automation: Strong proficiency in Python or Go for automation tasks.
  

Soft Skills

• Security Mindset: You assume the network is hostile. You prioritise security without becoming a blocker to engineering velocity.
  

• Builder Mentality: You prefer automating a task over doing it manually twice. You take pride in building robust systems that survive without constant intervention. You will take a proactive stance into building these systems.
  

• Modern Tech Stack: We operate on the bleeding edge of AI infrastructure. You will work with the latest tools in containerization, orchestration, and security.
  

• Autonomy: You own the infrastructure layer. We encourage refactoring and optimization; if you see a better way to build a module, you have the freedom to implement it.
