Job Details
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate /Senior Associate to join our qualitative market research team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about understanding consumer behavior and generating insights that drive business decisions. The Junior Executive will assist in the design, execution, and analysis of qualitative research projects, working closely with senior team members and clients.
WHAT'D YOU DO:
- Project Management: Manage qualitative research projects from start to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope.
- Research Support: Assist in designing and developing qualitative research plans, including defining research objectives and methodologies.
- Data Collection: Support the execution of qualitative research activities, such as coordinating and scheduling interviews, focus groups, and other data collection methods.
- Fieldwork: Assist in conducting fieldwork, including note-taking, recording, and observing focus groups and interviews.
- Data Analysis: Analyze qualitative data using various techniques (e.g., thematic analysis, content analysis) to identify patterns, insights, and trends.
- Reporting and Presentation: Contribute to the preparation of research reports and presentations by summarizing findings and assisting in the creation of visual aids.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and provide updates on research progress.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other researchers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive project execution and integration of insights.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and quality of research deliverables, maintaining high standards in all aspects of the research process.
- Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks related to research projects, including organizing files, managing project timelines, and coordinating logistics.
Key Competencies:
- 2-5 years working experience in Research, Marketing, Analytics, Consulting– ideally in FMCG, tobacco, telecommunication industry
- The candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree – Psychology or Marketing major is a plus
- Excellent knowledge and usage of PPT, Word Doc and Excel
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking
- Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
- Interested and curious about PEOPLE and the WHY behind a behavior
