The Senior Associate Internal Project Manager is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for the planning, execution and delivering of information technology projects classified as standard projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
Working under some general supervision, this role collaborates with cross functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring project success by utilizing effective project management methodologies.
- Engages with key stakeholders to drive project success.
- Clearly articulates project ideas to diverse audiences and navigates disagreements and finds win-win solutions.
- Builds consensus among stakeholders with varying interests.
- Contributes to the establishment and maintains an organized framework for managing projects.
- Defines project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Contributes to the development of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identifies and manages project dependencies, risks and issues.
- Identifies potential roadblocks and takes proactive measures to keep the project on track.
- Conducts regular meetings and provides project updates to stakeholders.
- Engages and communicates with key stakeholders to understand project requirements, expectations, and changes.
- Fosters positive relationships and ensures alignment on project objectives.
- Allocates resources effectively to meet project goals.
- Ensures project deliverables meets quality standards and fulfils customer requirements.
- Identifies project risks and develops risk mitigation strategies.
- Facilitates knowledge transfer and lessons learned sessions to improve future program execution.
- Performs any other relevant task as required.
- Relevant knowledge and understanding of working within a matrixed global organization
- Good project management skills, particularly information technology projects.
- Assertive in approach coupled with confidence in the area of expertise and the ability to facilitate business conversations.
- Relevant client engagement and relationship building skills.
- Ability to persuade, negotiate and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business.

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Project / Program Management or related field desired.
- Relevant Project / Program Certification(s) preferred.
- Moderate level of demonstrable experience working in a similar position in a global organization.
- Moderate level of experience overseeing standard IT projects through the full life cycle.
- Moderate level of project management stakeholder engagement experience.
