We are looking for our second FP&A hire at ALSO to support the Engineering and Supply Chain teams and help shape both our strategic and financial future. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-growth environment where you can directly impact the company’s trajectory and contribute to the world’s transition to sustainable mobility solutions.
What You Will Do
Act as the primary finance partner for engineering and supply chain leaders and collaborate with their teams worldwide
Develop and own the financial plan for production, engineering, and supply chain
Partner with production planning to optimize build plans and material forecasts and balance cost efficiency, flexibility, and speed
Guide engineering and sourcing decisions to achieve program cost targets across OpEx, CapEx, and BOM
Build business cases to drive key decisions on product roadmap, sourcing, and manufacturing strategy
Maintain the finance BOM and audit ALSO's cost structure across its supply chain
What You Will Bring
4+ years of experience at high-growth companies, investment banks, or consulting firms, with a track record of delivering impact
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Ability to thrive amid shifting priorities and ambiguity
Expert-level skills in financial modeling using Excel or Google Sheets
Working experience and interest in leveraging LLMs to get to accurate answers faster
Preferred
Experience supporting hardware engineering or manufacturing teams in a finance role, or a background in engineering or procurement
Familiarity with SQL, Power BI or similar tools, and NetSuite
The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
