This is your chance to take ownership of the end-to-end accounting process of a fast-growing global company. You’ll immerse yourself in the daily operations, gaining exposure to Loop’s finance across all global entities. You'll take ownership of essential tasks while working alongside a passionate team, making this role more than just numbers—it's about driving the future of Loop’s financial operations.
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll ensure financial precision and timely reporting.You’ll oversee the month-end close process and own consolidation and analyses, including intercompany and FX. Beyond closing the books, you’ll shape corporate accounting through balance sheet governance, policy development, and scalable reporting practices.
Your other responsibilities:- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting procedures, through automation, AI, and/or process improvements.
- Ensure all transactions and balances are supported by clean and clear backup documentation.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Support the implementation of tools and systems to support the company's scaling needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide financial insights.
- Mentor junior accounting team members and foster a collaborative environment.
To excel in this role, you’ll need strong communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. You’ll navigate a variety of tasks - from driving the month-end close to working with stakeholders across the business to deliver clear financial insights. The aim isn’t just accuracy, but continuously raising the bar on how Loop approaches accounting.
These key competences will set you up for success:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, including consolidation and reporting, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP S4 HANA is a plus) and advanced Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
