Senior Accountant

Lavoie CPA PLLC is a premier professional services firm located in Charlotte, NC, looking for a progressive and outgoing, Senior Accountant. This position will be full-time and will be based out of our Charlotte, NC office with flexibility to work remotely as needed.

You will be required to demonstrate your skills and abilities for the following activities as required for the role.

• Reviewing accounting transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash transactions) for accuracy and consistency
• Understand and encourage yourself and team members to automate routine accounting transactions
• Ensure appropriate documentation for tasks and review procedures
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures for approvals and monetary thresholds
• Complete the reconciliation between subledgers and general ledger
• Manage client communication and follow-up, including discussing outliers from automated accounting processes
• Back-up support for credit card reconciliations
• Maintain and nurture client relationships
• Special projects and other duties as needed and assigned
• Maintain the integrity of the firm in all correspondence and client interactions
• Be tech savvy and comfortable to work in a variety of accounting systems including: Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Bill.com, Gusto, and Paycom
