As a Senior Account Executive focused on Payments, you will play a critical role in driving net new revenue for our Payments product line. This is a high-impact sales role where you will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and driving growth in the payments sector. Your deep understanding of payment solutions and B2B SaaS will enable you to effectively communicate the value of our offerings and close deals with high-potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the payments sector, focusing on high-potential B2B clients.
  • Sales Execution: Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations, understanding their business needs and how our payment solutions can address them.
  • Solution Selling: Leverage your knowledge of payments and B2B SaaS to present tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of each client, overcoming objections and positioning Leverage as the preferred partner.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, using CRM tools to track progress and forecast future revenue.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform your sales strategy and ensure our offerings remain competitive.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless handoffs and to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years in a sales role, with a proven track record of closing deals and driving revenue growth in a B2B payments SaaS environment.
  • Payments Expertise: Strong understanding of payment solutions and the unique challenges and opportunities within the payments industry.
  • B2B SaaS Sales: Demonstrated success in selling complex B2B SaaS solutions, with the ability to articulate value propositions and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Sales Acumen: Exceptional sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing, with a focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade senior-level executives.
  • Results-Oriented: Highly motivated and goal-driven, with a passion for achieving success and driving business growth.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

The salary range for this role is between $120-155k with uncapped commission. The actual salary offered will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and the successful candidate's overall fit within our organization and total package will include components such as benefits and stock options.
